Tihomir Marinov: "September Sun" proved that metal has many fans in Dobrich and the region

It was a very strong edition of the festival, said after the fourth "September Sun" one of the two organizers - Tihomir Marinov. Since 2018, he and Zdravko Ivanov have managed to impose Dobrich on the festival map of hard music in Bulgaria. A total of 10 groups took to the stage near the skate park in the two festival evenings, with the first traditionally for fans of heavier sound, and the second offered a variety of styles.
"September Sun" confirmed the fact that metal is a very popular music, said Tihomir Marinov. The first night attracted many fans of hard music from other cities - both from our region and from Varna, Shumen and others.
One of the bands we will hear at the fifth edition is already clear - the Sofia metal band "This Burning Day". She was supposed to participate this year, but was replaced at the last minute due to the illness of a member of the gang. Thus, the visit of "This Burning Day" is postponed for the fifth "September Sun".
Tihomir Marinov revealed that 80% of the festival program for 2022 is ready. The return of two legendary Dobrich bands from the 90s is planned for next September, and one headliner, like "Ostava" this year, will be one of the big names in Bulgarian music.
